A few things on my wishlist at the moment!

So today was the day that I handed in my window display! If you didn't catch my last uni project post, I had to create a window display for a chosen store based on an event, day or trend during Spring/Summer '14.

I decided to create a display for Urban Outfitters, specifically the Manchester City Centre store, and my day was 'World Music Day' which is on the 21st of June every year!

We had the choice to make a 2d or 3d model, and I thought a 3d model would be a lot more visual and interactive!

The picture below is the finished result, the idea being that a live band is playing in the window!

This week has been a hectic one! Unlike other weeks when all I seem to do is a constant cycle or eat sleep work repeat (notice the no raving...I'm a teenager I promise!) this week I actually did something exciting!

If you read my previous post you'll know this week I visited London to see the one and only Beyonce! Like everyone who has been to see the Mrs Carter tour - I had THE best time ever and she was absolutely amazing...she really knows how to put on a show! It seems like thats enough excitement to last me the next 2 months though because it's back to assignments this week, oh the joy!

Nothing too interesting to report! My idea of creating a World Music Day window for Urban Outfitters is still a go - I've just got to get round to making it now....help!

On Monday afternoon my friend Hannah and I set off for a two night stay in London. The main and most exciting reason for our visit was to see none other but Queen B herself!!!!! (Beyonce for those of you who have been living under a rock for the past...decade). I have never been so excited to see someone live in a long long time (other than for One Direction because if you know me....well you'd know!)

While we were there we'd thought we'd fit in a little shopping time because, well, we were in London!

I didn't go too crazy while shopping but I thought I'd share a few items I bought and a couple of short and extremely shaky videos from Beyonce!!!

Hello guys! Can you believe it's March already?...I feel like this year is flying by and I'm not taking advantage of every moment! Life really can just pass you by sometimes. I seriously need to take a step back and look at my New Years resolutions for 2014 too, because they have not been stuck to...at all!

So like I said in my previous post, my current assignment is based around window displays, so on Thursday our class visited Manchester city centre to see Spring/Summer 's 2014 windows. This one is of Harvey Nichols and it's my favourite one from the trip, very fashion factory! Let me know if you've seen any interesting windows recently!

Yes the most talked about woman of the year so far...Beyonce! I'm going to see her at the o2 on Tuesday and I cannot wait! Partition is a particular favourite of mine and one that I blast the loudest in my car!
